Hello Everyone,

I will be running in the Amy's Angels 5k run/walk in April.

Amy's Angels was established in 2014 in memory of Amy who lost her battle with breast cancer. Amy's Angels was created to help others like Amy by providing both short and long term assistance through advocacy, volunteer services, financial support and fundraising events such as this race. I am a development committee member of Amy's Angels and cannot express enough, the need there is out there for assistance when times get tough.

This non-profit organization and its members have been my saving grace as I lost a very dear friend to cancer in 2012. Amy's Angels has given me the opportunity to channel the hurt and sadness I experienced with that loss into a focus of helping others so that their experiences could be less burdensome. I have been with Amy's Angels since the very first meeting back in the fall of 2013. Since then, we have grown and reached out to help several individuals and families during their times of struggle. Amy's Angels is a phenomenal group of people who volunteer from the heart to help those in need.
